Project Information
The TAZAMA Pipeline is a critical crude oil transportation system spanning approximately 1,710 kilometers from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania to Ndola, Zambia. Ensuring the integrity, efficiency and longevity of such a pipeline requires advanced chemical injection systems to control corrosion, improve flow performance and protect infrastructure.
LSM International Ltd, in partnership with First Petrochemicals of Abu Dhabi, was engaged by TAZAMA Pipeline Limited to deliver the installation of chemical injection skids across seven strategic stations along the pipeline.
The project required precise coordination, technical expertise and strict adherence to pipeline safety standards. LSM was responsible for the inspection, installation, integration and testing of the skid systems to ensure reliable chemical dosing and seamless operation within the pipeline network.
Working across multiple remote stations, the team ensured consistent quality, system reliability and compliance with operational requirements. The project also included knowledge transfer through technical training to TAZAMA personnel for ongoing system operation and maintenance.
Through this project, LSM International demonstrated its capability to execute complex pipeline support systems across international infrastructure, delivering reliable and efficient solutions in partnership with global industry players.
